Had a question as to whether cleaning was needed when changing projectiles? That didn’t seem to be addressed in the episode.

Really good stuff and confirmed what I had been experiencing myself. I’d pretty much given up cleaning centerfire rifles but this brings up a question. What about rimfire? How important is cleaning for a rimfire, specifically, a bolt action? I feel like the answer is, “very important” but I used to think the same thing about centerfire. I’m curious to hear your thoughts and experience.

Pretty convincing that you should not clean if you shoot thousands of rounds a year and replace the barrel every year or 2, but what about rifles that fire 100 rounds per year and sit in storage 8 months of the year? Any longer term concerns with not cleaning?
